The Catering Insight Emerging Distributor of the Year Award, sponsored by Jestic Foodservice Equipment, was open to kitchen houses that have been trading for 5 years or less but have made an impact quickly.
This can certainly be said of this year’s winner iFour Hospitality Design, which is less than a year old.
However, the company has been built around the experience of the two directors, Lee Swiffen and Paul Martin. With nearly 40 years combined knowledge, they are building the business from the ground up, and in the first 6 months have already completed several high profile projects up to circa £250,000, including a stunning nature-themed design at Squirrel cafe in London.
The firm prides itself on quality and adaptability to working to changing project timescales.
Martin reacted to the win, saying he was gobsmacked. “It has been a lot of hard work to get to this point.
“Lee and I have worked together for 15 years now, we’ve had a total focus on doing things differently and serving our customers, making friends and having the best time of it. We set out to do something we’re proud of and every project we’ve done we’ve been proud of so far.”
