A catering equipment PR man is bidding to complete a 5,000 metre swim in order to raise money for charity.
Tim Morgan, owner of The Publicity Works, which works with organisations such as CESA, Rational, Winterhalter and FEM, is carrying out the exercise in aid of Sports Relief.
“It’s a charity that makes a real difference to people living tough lives all over the world,” he said.
To cover the 5,000 metres, Tim will have to swim a gruelling 200 lengths of a 25-metre pool.
The Swimathon takes place this Friday in Sheringham, Norfolk and is part of a range of Sport Relief events organised across the country this coming weekend.
