The Restaurant Show begins its three day event today, with Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment hosting a specialist expo within the exhibition.
Located on level one of the central hall at Olympia, the equipment expo will feature around 60 suppliers.
Among the leading industry names at the show are Rational, which will look into hot food prep; Churchill, which will showcase its tableware collections and Winterhalter; which will give insight into its latest warewashing systems.
Victor Manufacturing on stand UF51 will present its extensive range hot cupboards, table top displays and modular counters to attendees while Foster Refrigeration will show off its new technology in temperature control, hygiene and efficiency.
Falcon Foodservice is also in attendance, and will use stand UF49 to let people take a closer look at the company’s new electric fryer.
According to Shaune Hall, Falcon’s product development chef, the new fryer is ideal for producing individual portions or small batches.
Organisers of this year’s Restaurant Show are hoping the Catering Equipment Expo, along with a specialist Bar and Pub exhibition, will help to broaden the appeal of this year’s event as they expect 450 exhibitors to be in attendance.
