Organisers of the forthcoming Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Show have confirmed that a number of major UK and international operators will be scouting the show for new equipment.
Decision-makers from Asda, Boots, British Gas, Cargill Meats Europe, Co-operative Group, DHL, Gatwick Airport, John Lewis Partnership, National Rail, One Stop Stores, Pepsico, Spirit Pub Company, Tesco and Thorntons are all expected to be visiting the event, which is staged at the NEC between March 13th and 15th.
“I am coming with several colleagues to see the latest developments in refrigeration, including remote and integral cabinets, compressor packs and condensing units,” said Neil Frost of The Co-operative Group. “Efficiency is a key issue for us.”
He added: “My company is looking to move away from HFC refrigerants and the show will give us a good insight into the latest developments in alternative technologies, such as carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons.”
More than 100 manufacturers of air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems will be exhibiting at the show, which contains a comprehensive seminar programme to address key technical and legislative issues in the sector.
