“Our excellent levels of customer service, the unmatched quality of our award winning products and the overall reliability of Vivreau UK will continue ‘business as usual’.

“We are delighted that our partnership with Brita has developed into full integration. We are extremely excited for the future and to continue to grow our business within the HoReCa, corporate, healthcare, architecture and build sectors with the full support of Brita.”

Markus Hankammer, CEO of Brita Group commented: “We are continuing to invest in the strategic expansion of our highly promising product line of mains-fed drinking water dispensers.

“We want to shape the future of the water dispenser market in Europe and our acquisition of Vivreau UK will help to do this.

“We are extremely grateful for the help and support from MD Stephen Charles to enable us to continue to work closely together and ensure crucial continuity.”

Founded in 1989 by Charles and his late father Howard, Vivreau is the pioneer of the Table Water Bottling system used in many global companies, as well as five star hotels and restaurants across the world.

The company’s product range has expanded to include its Vi tap, which dispenses mains-fed purified chilled still, sparkling and instant boiling hot water from one single tap with a touch sensor control.
