Following the expansion of its Leeds facility last year, quickly followed by additions to its Scottish sales force, Brakes Catering Equipment is on the development path again as it looks to recruit a projects sales manager for London and the Home Counties.

Channel head Kevin Finlay commented: “Improvements to our offer, including a much larger product range and improved availability for next day deliveries, have not only prompted increased customers satisfaction levels and an uplift in top line sales of light and capital equipment, but also brought many customers, both new and existing, to our door in search of expert advice on project work.

“We are now being asked to quote for a wide range of different projects including new restaurants and kitchen remodels, across all sectors, to the point where the recruitment of an additional projects sales manager has become vital, not only to our continued growth plan but, more importantly, to ensuring we maintain our current high levels of customer satisfaction.

“Our bespoke projects team is already active across the UK and has played a pivotal part in securing contracts in a number of sectors including leisure, contract catering and, most recently, the NHS. In addition, it provides chefs and caterers from all sectors with expert advice on choosing the right option for their business, whether they are looking for a refresh or a full scale refurbishment. The new addition to the team will ensure that it continues to do so.”
