Bonzer drives dealer sales with Cannes competition

Mitchell & Cooper is offering customers the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Cannes as part of a promotion it hopes will deliver some pull-through to the dealer market.

The light equipment specialist is urging dealers to inform their customers about the competition it is running for its Bonzer brand to encourage sales of Bonzer Black can openers.

Anybody that purchases a Bonzer can opener through the dealer channel stands a chance of bagging a break in the luxurious French destination famous for its film festival.

The promotion, which celebrates 85 years of the British-made Bonzer brand, includes flights and a two-night stay for two people.

Anyone that purchases a Bonzer Black can opener between now and November 15th has until the end of November to enter the competition by submitting details of their purchase online at Bonzer’s website.

“Having a product that is so devoted to cans, there was really only one place that we could send our winner,” said Guy Cooper, managing director of Mitchell & Cooper. “But that is not the only similarity between our product and the location. Cannes is the big draw for stars of the big screen, whilst the Bonzer can opener is the star in any size of kitchen.”
