CESA’s 2017 conference is to welcome back Steph McGovern, economist and broadcaster, as this year’s conference facilitator.
The event, which will take place on 15-16 November at the DeVere Wokefield Estate near Reading, will feature a presentation programme on the second day, which McGovern will kick off with an economic and business session as well as linking expert speakers from business and industry.
The conference is aimed at offering insight and illumination encompassing economic, business and technological changes and their potential impact on the catering equipment supply chain as it evolves into a value chain.
“We live in challenging times for the foodservice industry,” said Glenn Roberts, chair of CESA. “The changes are coming thick and fast; no-one can risk being left behind. We have chosen speakers who have knowledge and insight to show delegates a real understanding of how to adapt to the way ahead.”
On Wednesday 15 November there will be a golf or activity day, with an informal dinner in the evening. The Thursday evening will also host a gala dinner with the presentation of the FCSI Sustainable Equipment Award and the CESA Outstanding Achievement Award.
The programme is open to all in the foodservice industry, including operators, suppliers and consultants. Non CESA members will be welcome.
