Baron confirms product price hike

Ali Group cooking equipment brand Baron has confirmed that it is introducing a new pricing structure at the start of 2018.

After an extended period of sustaining the same pricing strategy, the company has been forced to implement a price increase to cope with the fluctuation in raw material prices.

In a statement sent to its customers, Baron said: “Renewal of its product range has begun at Baron with the presentation of a new marketing strategy and image in the territory as a mark of continuing investments aimed at meeting new market demands with the ongoing objective of improving the services on offer.

“Over the past 4 years the listed prices of the current Baron line have remained the same despite the constant changes on the market with considerable fluctuations in the prices of raw materials, components and semi-finished goods (which to date we have not transferred to our customers). We are now writing to inform you, reluctantly, of the application to the B15-1 price list of a 3% increase from 1 January 2018.”

Alongside the notice of the change in pricing the Ali Group brand took the opportunity to invite its customers to place order before the new pricing structure come into place to secure the cheapest price.

From late spring 2018, the new Queen7 and Queen9 lines will come into production, presented recently at the international Host trade show and from 1 January 2019, and will replace the current 700 and 900 lines respectively.

The new lines will have a new price list which will come into force when they come into production. Up to 31 December 2018 the current 700 and 900 and the new Queen7 and Queen9 lines will be available simultaneously.
