Universal Foodservice Equipment, UK supplier of the Ali Group’s Baron brand, has worked with CaterQuotes to get its product portfolio on the quotation software.
MD of Universal, Roger Flanagan, confirmed that all products and up to date prices are now online in the CaterQuotes directory, including Baron’s new ‘drop in’ units.
Flanagan reports that the supplier has been “delighted” with the response to the new launch so far. The cooking equipment line is said to make the most of available space and offers a range of bespoke inset solutions.
All Baron equipment prices on CaterQuotes are current and should remain through to the end of 2018.
However, the prices for the new Queen range of 700 and 900 modular and one piece top products are reportedly 3-5% more than the current Baron 700 and 900 lines, which will be phased out by the end of this year.
Universal will be making the Queen range available around August/September, when all the technical, parts and commercial documentation is ready as well as its website upgrade.
