Recently-formed Bansa Environmental, a provider of grease removal and utilities management products, has been added to the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) Supplier Directory.
The Sustainable Restaurant Association helps restaurant members become global leaders in sustainability.
The SRA Supplier Directory lists a range of products and services to help its restaurant members fulfil their commitments to becoming more sustainable.
The directory aims to ensure that members can source products and services that are genuinely more sustainable than standard alternatives.
“It is not only our products that secured inclusion, but our ability to demonstrate that Bansa is run in a sustainable manner, practicing what it preaches, so to speak,” said Phil Holder, owner and director of Bansa.
Warwickshire-based Bansa supplies a range of environmental products, but specialises in grease management within the kitchen.
“By collecting a waste product from pot wash, dish wash and ovens, we can turn change it from a destructive and costly by-product into a sellable renewable energy source, right in front of your eyes,” he said.
