Atosa UK’s focus on building distributor relationships in 2017 looks to have paid off, as the manufacturer has grown by 40% over the last 12 months.
Lee Donkin, who has now been promoted to sales director at Atosa UK, stated: “It has been a great year for Atosa throughout Europe, with huge growth reported in Italy and France, which shows the level of trust our dealers have with our product.
“We remain committed to providing the very best energy efficient products at extremely competitive prices. We have already secured some excellent deals with dealers and 2018 should prove to be an exciting year as we look to grow by even more than 40% as we have this year.”
The success has meant the manufacturer outgrew its existing premises in Northampton and has moved to a larger base nearby.
Donkin detailed: “The warehouse space is just under 1,000ft2 larger but in the last warehouse the height was the issue, and we were restricted as to the number of units we could store. Our new warehouse is 2metres taller and allows us to utilise around 20% more space.
“Also, as we continue to grow our sales we need to invest in people so our new offices allow us to do this with no space restrictions.”
The new offices include “a state of the art showroom where dealers can come and view product or even host meetings with their own teams,” according to Donkin.
“The new showroom has a good range of equipment a mix from all our ranges showing the differences between medium duty, heavy duty and green refrigeration as well deli counters and blast chillers.”
He believes that the new premises have already been beneficial. “First impressions are everything in this industry. Dealers that have already taken advantage of our new showroom have been hugely impressed and now see Atosa as a huge player in the refrigeration market in the future.
“We have some very exciting new products launching next spring with deli counters and blast chillers being added to our portfolio.
“Recently sponsoring the After-Party at the Catering Insight Awards also further enhanced our brand image and reputation.”
