Associations swing into action for charity golf day

CEDA, CESA and FCSI jointly hosted an industry Golf Day at the Abbey Hotel, Redditch to fundraise for charity, Hospitality Action.

Over 60 players from the three industry bodies helped to raise a total of £1,550.

Adam Mason, CEDA director general, commented: “It was fantastic to see the members, partners and associates from our combined associations battle it out with golf clubs for such as good cause as Hospitality Action. The overall individual winner was CEDA member ScoMac’s Alasdair MacMillan who took home the Redball Trophy and the newly donated Peter Hansen Memorial Trophy which was given by CEDA.

“The team competition included the Claret Jug CEDA versus CESA teams and CESA won it on this occasion taking a three-two lead in this ongoing competition. We look forward to squaring things up next year, and a big thank you to all who took part and donated generously for Hospitality Action.”
