Ascentia Foodservice Equipment has revealed more details about the Spanish and Italian catering equipment brands it will represent.
The new Cambridgeshire-based supplier will officially launch its collection of imports to the UK market at The Restaurant Show in London between 5-7 October.
One of the brands, Piron, is available for the first time in the UK market. Its bakery and convection steaming ovens are described as ‘Italy’s best kept secret’. The range includes countertop four tray ovens to floor standing 20 tray ovens.
Another brand, Spanish manufacturer Mibrasa, produces charcoal ovens. Head of Ascentia’s sales team, Neil Mantle, said: “Mibrasa’s charcoal ovens provide a brilliant cooking platform whilst offering theatre and wonderful flavours to any menu.”
Italian deck and conveyor pizza oven manufacturer Moretti Forni will also be available from its new official UK partner. It will provide an extensive range of deck, conveyor and bakery ovens, said to meet any requirements.
For another import, Italian brand Berto’s, Mantle commented: “It manufactures a beautifully designed range of high performance cooking equipment combining form, functionality and power. It has an option and range to suit every catering challenge. The equipment is innovative in design and universally loved by operators.”
The Italy-based Dalmec brand offers a range of counter, upright and blast chiller refrigeration. Mantle added: “It provides a high quality European build married with ultra-affordability.’’
Completing Ascentia’s portfolio, Pavesi authentic wood/gas fired pizza ovens direct from Italy feature both traditional static and rotating cooking deck options. Mantle concluded: “They are the ultimate in artisan pizza oven manufacturing. Un-paralleled insulation provides maximum heat retention and superb cooking results.”
