Italian pizza oven manufacturer, Alfa Pro, will be revealing new technology at The Bar & Pub Show, one of the three exhibitions taking place as part of The Restaurant Show at London’s Olympia on 3-5 October.

The new dual fuel oven will allow users to cook using both wood and gas, according to their needs.

On stand WG21 at the show, Alfa Pro’s partner chef, Cornelius Veakins, will be conducting live cooking sessions to demonstrate this technology.

The manufacturer states that its ovens are “a revolutionary compact concept that has the power and flavour of wood and gas fired oven is but enclosed in a light and strong armour with wheels to bring taste everywhere”.

Alfa Pro ovens are said to be “plug and cook”, taking 30 minutes to heat up.

They are also designed to cook quickly, with pizzas said to take 80 seconds and T-bone steak done in 6 minutes.
