Italian manufacturer Alfa Pizza, an Alfa Refrattari brand, has hailed its attendance at this year’s Host exhibition in Milan as a success.
The firm reported that more than 1,000 visitors per day from 23-27 October came to its stand to see the first preview of its new Evolution series pizza ovens.
Alfa Pizza’s two development chefs used the stand to cook various dishes such as lasagne, chicken, vegetables and pies in the Giotto and Quattro Pro Top oven models of the series. These are two of six types of wood fired pizza ovens in the range.
The ovens can reach 400°C in 15 minutes, and all models come with Forninox technology which is designed to enable a short cooking time. The oven’s cooking surface is made from refractory bricks that are claimed to cope well with heat and be made to last.
