A pick-up in sales from the quick service restaurant sector has prompted Adande to exhibit at a trade show for fish and chip shop owners.
The Lowestoft-based company will take part in the Fish Frying & Fast Food Show at Sandown Park on 12 October where it plans to demonstrate why its patented refrigerated drawers are ideal for the storage of raw fish and perishable food.
Sales director, Karl Hodgson, said its insulated system modifies air flow patterns to ensure stable temperatures and improved humidity no matter how frequently the drawers are opened.
“Adande drawers are proving increasingly popular with fish and chip shops and fast food outlets,” he commented. “This is the first time that we have exhibited at this show and our decision to do so is based on the significant increase in demand for our products from the quick service restaurant sector.”
The units may be built into counter units to provide bulk cold storage at the point of food preparation or service, eliminating the need for fish and chip operators to leave their workstation to fetch stock, thus improving kitchen efficiency.
