ABDA to kit out Hotelympia kitchen

ABDA recently showed off its design skills at the Dinings SW3 sushi restaurant.

ABDA Creative Design & Build are set to demonstrate its design and build skills with the creation of La Parade restaurant and show kitchen at the Hotelympia exhibition in London’s ExCel on 5-8 March 2018.

As the UK’s largest foodservice and hospitality event, Hotelympia showcases the latest trends and thinking from across the industry.

One of the main events taking place during the 4 day show is the International Salon Culinaire, a prestigious four category chef competition with the La Parade des Chefs as its cornerstone category. Each day two teams of chefs will go head-to-head to produce a three course lunch for 100 show attendees.

ABDA Design will create the two restaurant areas for diners and will work with equipment providers Hobart UK and Blue Seal on the state-of-the-art kitchens for the teams to compete in; these will both be surrounded by clear panels allowing guests to witness the chefs at work.

Ross Carter, portfolio director at Hotelympia organiser Fresh Montgomery, said: “We are thrilled to be working with ABDA Design, specialists in hospitality design, to bring together Hotelympia’s most established visitor attraction, La Parade des Chefs.

“No other event within the UK provides the opportunity for chefs to compete side by side in such a demanding environment and we can’t wait to see what the chefs will choose to cook.”

The team at ABDA will also be exhibiting its services at stand no. 1758.
